davidlallen
I can't access steam right now to PM that modder, but we should be able to cooperate on one mod with everything.
sgtcal10
I don't think we should, he stated he just copied my code and the swapped the MEC for a codex, not even a custom template codex. Then had the audacity to not even f*#@ing credit me
Vicius
Honestly, while not being credited sucks, holding petty grudges will really not bring anything positive to you, him, the modding community or the players. There's no point missing out on the opportunity to make an even greater mod just because of a little pride (because, really, what are you actually missing out on by not being credited than a little ego boost?). I for one would love to see as many people as possible working together on making such an amazing mod, that will surely require a lot of work to get done with as much polish as it requires and deserves. sgtcal10
Yes I suppose, sorry, we should invite him to work with us. Its just the first time this has happened to me. So again sorry
sgtcal10
Had a change of heart and sent him a nice message Hi, sorry about earlier, i know you did not 'steal' my mod, you changed it to add a codex, but not crediting for me for the code you used is kind of a dick move. So as a friendly reminder, I'll show you the user agreement for nexus mods, which is typically the most widely accepted agreemnent by the modding community. Here it is:ALWAYS CREDIT WORK THAT ISN'T YOURSIf you have received permission to use someone elses assets in your files you should always credit them. If you don't credit assets you've used from other users you will be considered a thief and you're likely to be banned; so it's very important you credit the work of others that you have used. davidlallen
I looked at the implementation of the codex, and it's pretty simple. He didn't give it a class or names, and there's no proving ground project. I will put his code into our framework, but let's not publish it until he gives permission. Hopefully he will post in this thread.
PepprmintButler
(posted in the wrong thread, moving that post to the right place) I'm very willing to help, although I'm not much use around the mod tools as of now.See contribution in the brainstorming thread.
