Enix031798
Hey peeps. Just want to give a heads up about my new upcoming mod and its features! The reason I am posting this thread is so it can be discussed first and maybe some new features added before its finally released. Here is the run down on what you can expect: - This mod will NOT be compatible with Hardcore mode, it is designed specificly for Casual mode for important reasons. - Due to this mod being designed for Casual mode it will moderately increase the amount of damage that NPC's, creatures and the PC take from all attacks. - Almost all items (ingestables, cards, misc items, weapon mods etc) will all be categorised so you can find what you want much more easily in the Pip-Boy menu. - This mod will add its own unique style of Hunger, Thirst and Sleep to the game which does NOT use the games built-in version (no Hardcore mode). - In addition to Hunger, Thirst and Sleep their will now be Bladder, Temperature, Stimulation, and Mood values to watch out for bringing a whole new purpose to in-game survival. Bladder will mean... welll... answering the call of nature when required. Temperature will mean that by day the PC will get hotter and by night get colder making the struggle to survive even more tense. Stimulation will be triggered by items such as chems and medicine granting benefits as well as drawbacks. Mood will be determined by many items such as alcohol, food, beverages and the company of companions. - You will be able to bottle your own water (purified and radiated) from water sources. - Drinking water will restore thirst but will decrease temperature (dangerous at night). Drinking alcohol will raise your mood and temperature but decrease your bladder and thirst values as well as trigger blurry vision depending on how much you drink all at once. But hey no worries should you find yourself freezing in the night warm up by a cozy cooking fire and raise that temperature. You could always kick back with some Jet raising your mood and your stimulation values while diminishing your hunger value. The choice is yours and their are many to consider. - The cripple system will be changed to be more extreme, crippled legs will slow down the PC, NPC's and creatures much more, crippled arms will cause gun accuracy to drop more and a crippled torso will greatly increase the chance of staggering. - Un-crippled limbs will only be healed by Hex's (new) or Doctor's Bag's. The difference is Hex's are much more common than Doctor's Bags and are cheaper but they only heal the health of all limbs by a minor amount over time. - Crippled limbs will now only be healed by special new items which are head bandages, leg braces, arm casts and torso bandages. - Damage over time effects will now have a minor chance to occur every time the PC, an NPC or a creature takes damage from a bullet, a laser beam or a explosive round of any type. These bleeding effects will only be healed by a doctor or by 2 special items, Band-Aid for bleeding and De-Burn for shock damage. - Weight values will now be given to all ammo types (again this is NOT for Hardcore mode). - New recipes will be added allowing you to cook and craft many items that help you to survive the harshness of the wasteland. - A new faction known as MWCS (Mojave Wasteland Courier Service) will arise in the wastes who by default are friends with the Courier allowing him/her to make use of their services, this means you will be able to call upon them to you anywhere in the world and transfer your items over freeing up vital space and allowing you to sell the items at a store later. Thats all for now, folks! Important Notes: 1. This mod will require some resources from other mods, should the authors of these mods give permission to use their resources this mod will proceed as planned. However should permission not be given this mod will be delayed maybe indefinately. 2. This mod was inspired by "Survival of the Fittest" created for FO3 but does not use any of its resources. -KC Edited May 18, 2011 by Enix031798
