nyde21
How about this? Is there a mod that ONLY increases the damage that enemies do??
Talonmaster812
I feel pretty empty playing NV after I hit around level 15 because the enemy are easy, even on the hardest difficulty once you get your favorite weapon and gear. The hardcore mode isn't fun or hardcore. When these features were added to FO3 (With mods) they felt like an important part of the game because of how scare the supplies actually were (at times). In NV free food and clean water are everywhere. All hardcore mode really does outside of improving the way you heal and fix limbs is make you interrupt the game to click on your food or drink in the inventory. To answer nyde21's question, the only way I can see NV actually getting more challenging and rewarding (if you mean like feeling satisfaction when you gun down a group of difficult enemies or set up a pile of mines and watch an enemy walk right into them) is when Project Nevada releases its balance changes. However, I can't decide for anyone what is challenging or rewarding, so I suggest taking the advice of the people who weren't being jerks.
nyde21
Yeah brother. Thanks for replying. Defintinely not going to do hardcore mode. From what I read (and know) that doesn't sound fun. A game is a game. And really shouldn't be a simulation. That's what real life is for! Lol
Festiloth
I hope this thread isn't too old, just found it. But if anybody feels like nyde21, I really recommend to try Project Nevada in combination with A World of Pain, voila there's you're rewarding, challenging dungeon crawl adventure. Maybe also add Warzones too, so you have a more warlike feeling on the surface too
