Dragonborn DLC causes random CTDs?

Hey everyone.

I think the Dragonborn DLC is causing random CTDs, particularly around the Riften and Windhelm parts of Skryim.

I have not started the Dragonborn quest yet, but what's leading me to believe that it's that DLC (and not any of the mods I have installed) is that every single time the last line in papyrus contains DLC2.

These are the last 3 lines of crash related papyrus documents (and yes, I do know that papyrus is not a crash log and what it really is, but I can't help my think this is sus)

LOOT says everythings ok, so I don't know what the problem is (the files have already been cleaned by TES5Edit)

Thank you

Did you already clean dawnguard.esm with tes5edit? Do so. Refer https://youtu.be/fw3g_N1jcZQ for help with it.

Check if there is any dawnguard patch for the mods you use beside Dawnguard. Don't forget the mods that come with an integrated installer (where you in most cases have to choose your DLCs). If you use MO, simpy right click on a mod, choose reinstall mod and click overwrite in the following dialog (I use the german UI, so perhaps the english menu items have different names then I told you). The installer will start again. If you use NMM not only disable the mod, delete it. Then install it again. if you're not sure whether there is an integrated installer with your mod, the mods discription page on Nexus will tell you or the file page will give you a hint like "comes with installer" or so.

Hi, thank for your responses

Yes, and I said so in my OP

I'm using the Unofficial Legendary Edition patch
Also, I did take care when I installed my mods to make sure I tick the correct compatibilies.

You might need the SKSE memory patch. It saved me from random CTDs after suffering it for YEARS. Watch this video by Gopher as he explains how to fix it.

SSME is outdated and suspended (and caries a 9 out of 10 on the danger scale)

No. It's still a very effective mod to this day. It doesn't make any sense because if you have a certain amount of mods YOU WILL HIT A CEILING and THERE'S NOTHING TO FIX IT. Whoever made that list needs to rethink that. I've been using it for a year now and haven't had a single issue, nor with any users who install it.

Re-read what it says about SSME. It's become redundant due to now being an inbuilt feature of SKSE if you have the latest version (which I do). I double checked to see if the feature was enabled, and it was.

This is not a problem with memory, it's most likely a compatibility problem. It could be that I installed some mods without Dragonborn compatibility by accident, and if that's the case, is there anyway I check to see which mods that could be? I really don't fancy re-downloading and installing ALL of my mods...
