quartet1977 Posted May 19, 2011 Share Posted May 19, 2011 Hi, I have dismissed the one companion that I have (Boone), but Jed still tells me that I have to leave my friend behind in order to join the caravan. My load order is below, in case that helps. I have the Sunny Smiles companion mod, but I had the same problem even after deactivating it. In the current save, I have not recruited her yet. Quetzlsacatanango Posted May 19, 2011 Share Posted May 19, 2011 If Sunny increments the companion counter, you should fire her before deactivating. Deactivating wouldn't set the counter back to 0. At the moment, I have no companions following me. The only one I did have has been dismissed back to the Lucky 38. EDIT: I don't know what I did, but it is working now.
