Leodoidao
My oblivion is very unstable, even with all mods turned off. My video board is a GeForce 7300 GS 512 MB ... I´ve heard it is NOT a good board for the game...is it? Is it better than the GeForce 6800 series?
andrewrox424
That's weird, I can run oblivion with mods on high. I mean everything up as high as it will go, with minimal lag. I have a 7600GT 256MB. Maybe try turning off programs in the background while your playing oblivion, that's what I do
Guest
one of the major things u guys have to put in factor is resolution. The higher the resolution the more work on the graphics card and if u have a mid range graphics card that means that ull have to lower details and such. Another major thing u guys might want to do is disable anti aliasing, it does help prevent crappy edges, but its not something thats applied to edges only it applies to the whole game so ur textures become more blured, not to mention this option puts ALOT of stress on ur video card, so u can actually lose 10-20FPS when anabling this option. Make sure you have ur drivers updated as that often helps since newer drivers provide better performances.
