rmaitipe
I really like the changes Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul (OOO) makes to the Oblivion all except one - That is the nerfing the reflect damage stat of the Chorrol Shield. It's usually one of my goals in the oblivion play through to find items with reflect damage to making my character feel like he/she is getting more powerful and with the nerf the shield is seriously weak.I think the mod could be simple as having an esp file that specifies the stat and have it load after OOO. Similar to the one mod that exists to revert wine effect back to the original. I'd like to hear your input on this, if its possible.
DallasDan99
I could just upgrade the damage for you. The change your asking for is extreamely easy. Whats the shields excat name though? Edited February 22, 2016 by griningjoker
rmaitipe
Thanks, griningjoker! It's the Escutcheon of Chorrol. Here is the link to the item page with the item id. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Escutcheon_of_Chorrol
DallasDan99
Hey man sorry for the late upload heres your shield. I upgraded the stats a little bit and put the highest reflect damage enchantment i could on it. Shield goes up to 85 armor now. its on the right moat of the imperial city (arena) district. like the concreate guard that makes a wall from the moat. Anyway here it is theres some other stuff in there too that was automatically put in. http://www.mediafire.com/download/hzeyv9r2ub5lia5/Yourshield.esp Edited February 25, 2016 by griningjoker

rmaitipe
Ok, it's trickier than I thought.First thing I noticed was the shield spell was only doing 10 points of damage and didn't have the secondary fortify effect. I disabled the OOO and still the same! - at this point I went digging with Tes4Edit and found the correct enchantment is MS16BEnAppEscutcheon06 [ENCH:0006BDF9].Applied it and loaded the mod last and the stats are up to the correct amount , but here is the bad news, once I re-enable OOO the stat is reduced once more :wallbash: . What I suspect is that OOO changes the actual enchantment. I'm not sure how to tackle that
DallasDan99
even in the main game reflect damage is still really low. Im not sure how to edit enchantments i can look and see if i can.
rmaitipe
Thanks! in the meantime for anyone else having the same problem here is a workaround - I remembered not having this problem earlier in earlier OOO versions and tested it by downgrading it to 1.33 version to confirm its working there. I'll try to see the edits that got added between the versions.
