admiraloblivion Posted May 19, 2011 Share Posted May 19, 2011 I got quite a annoying problem, all the light armor gloves are black and the helmets for heavy and light armor are also black, but modded armor is still good, does anyone know how to fix this? David Brasher Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 It does sound like you either overwrote a bunch of your meshes and textures with bad ones, or else you are having an archive invalidation problem. Archive invalidation is witchcraft and the experts argue over it and cannot come to consensus. Some say that using it has roughly the same effect as not using it. If all else fails, you might try deleting or renaming-to-disable all your meshes and textures. The game will then revert to vanilla Oblivion in this aspect. You can then reinstall the meshes and textures of the mods you use from the compressed downloaded mods in your archive. (Install them a few mods at a time with play-testing in between actions.)
