Seeking guns that are bows

I'd like a mod that adds bows that have gun meshes. i.e. stat-wise and animation-wise it's a bow...but it looks like a gun. This is primarily for use with the Devil May Cry mod's bowslinger mode. Would prefer something that could pass as Dwemer technology, but I'm not picky about it. I've seen several gun mods, but the guns appear to all be enchanted staffs, rather than bows. :pirate:

You don't want a gun that is a bow. They stink! I have tried a few. The rate of fire is pathetic, the animation is all wrong, and you have goofy things like cartridges being flung at enemies. You can pick them up off the ground and use them again.

 

What you want is a bow that is a staff, even though you say you don't.

except you can't use a staff with the Devil May Cry's Bowslinger mode. Since you say you have tried a few, could you please provide a link or at least a name of the mod?

That mod's author has other gun related mods, but I forget if they have any different guns than the AK and Dragonuv. I also saw an M16, but it was only a modder's resource.

Staves are really where its at for guns. I have made a few gun staves, but I guess if they don't work with the mod you use, then oh well.
