Hello everyone if been playing around with new vegas for some time started clean and quikly installed some mods like WME and Japanese Stealth armor with some other mods, if came about some snapshots showing a Fallout 2 Enclave power armor and now i now it is Vanilla im even more interested...... SO HERE come some questions

( im trying to start an info thread about the Enclave in New Vegas and its DLCs if their featured in it but i need some more info on that)

question 1:-

The people wearing the Advanced Power Armor are they enclave and if so are they more like the Fallout 2 characters or are they like in Fallout 3?

Question 2:-

What can yo do with the enclave, are the enclave joinable and do they give quests or are they just hostile npcs?

question 3:-

Does this enclave know about the brotherhood assault and battles between Capital Enclave and Lyons Brotherhood?

question 4:-

where are they located in the Mojave are their markers for their bunkers/bases?

question 5 :-

what are the most lore friendly ENclave mods around?

question 6:-

know some other enclave mods around?

question 7 -

1) They are remnants of the Fallout 2 enclave (they mention having actually fought in the battles), therefore they are using the weapons from the west coast, ie core region. The east coast (which is the part of the remaining enclave who followed autumn senior) is implied to have either discovered more primitive designs of the mark 2 armor, or have manufactured themsleves with a technological disadvantage (relative to the armor from Fallout 2).

2) I dont remember them being hostile, unless you piss them off, there are several citizens in the game who are old enclvae soldiers and the player (through arcade gannon) can convince them to join together to fight in the final battle...Quest/ For Auld Lang Syne...http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/For_Auld_Lang_Syne

3) no, the games take place three years apart and it appears that there is no contact between the remnants in the game and the east coast. the remnants are a half dozen people just trying to live their lives, they know nothing except what is happening in their immediate surroundings, and its not like the east coast enclave care, ive killed hundreds of them, a half dozen abandoned soldiers in the mojave desert means nothing to them

4) there is one bunker, the remnants bunker by jacobstown. You have to complete Gannon's quest to gain access.

5) I'm not aware of any substantial lore friendly mods, search Enclave and something will show up. I am building a large mod that will maybe include the enclave, but it is still very much in the works. I will PM you a link when I upload it.

6) "'"

7) Not for NV, but I havent really looked either.

In New Vegas, the Enclave Power Armor is non-factioned. Anyone can wear it.

As the previous poster said, Arcade Gannon's quest is the key to getting access to the Mojave Enclave Remants (one surviving squad from Navarro, plus their gear). It's really not about you joining The Enclave, its about their last surviving squad joining you.

Getting and keeping Arcade is tricky because he hates Legion, and as you probably know The Enclave hates NCR -- they are mortal enemies. You have to walk a fine line between those.

How I made Arcade happy was I finished The Fort on the east side of the Colorado, then I shot up the Legion camp at Cottonwood Cove after I got back, then Arcade was willing to join with me because I now had a low rep with Legion. There are other ways to lower your Legion rep later on in the main quest, but Cottonwood Cove was just quick and easy for a sniper on the return trip from Caesar's Fort so I got Arcade earlier.

There are some oddities in The Enclave quest and I doubt anything has changed in 1.3.

When I did Independant New Vegas I had to ask The Enclave Remnants to side with the NCR. It's just one of those dialog oddities where you don't have a neutral choice. High (very high) speech helps there. Might have been 90 or 100 it was a long time back.

Also, when I did it Arcade just disappeared after we were all ready for the final battle. He was a no-show at Hoover Dam. But you will get the Power Armor training and the power armor itself before this, so thats not a concern. Mainly I was upset he took off with my Plasma Caster and he would have added a lot of firepower :)

I don't know if Arcade left because I was going with The House (Arcade doesn't like House) or because of a glitch: I read on wikia about him disappearing near The Remnants Bunker, and that was in fact where I last saw him as we were getting ready to go to the dam. But the rest of the remnants showed up at the dam in their Vertibird and they kicked serious butt.

Well, just my 4 bits added to the previous post :D
