I'm sorry i kind of dislike the idea of wondering around like a big massive shark , Fiirstly it's not likely possible , Secondly Why make a new race? Why not make a new kind of fish like this? Making waters more dungeours and even more realistic , Sorry for being a bit of topic , Forgive me lord switch :ph34r:

It is totally on-topic to question my need for a new race.

 

to Marre_pro : dear Sir. I think the racial selection of Oblivion and the last two Elder Scrolls series, is amazing. The whole character creation system is faboulus.It's great.One of the best perks about Morrowind and Oblivion.

We have many humanoid races and some beast races, and the elven races.

There are Orcs, brute and unmagical. Argonians, that maybe are somewhat the water-creature of the game, and the Khajiit, the feline addition.

 

With my new race, I just wanted to add a more powerful water-based creature to the game.A playable race.

I think sharks are cool, and they seem to be the ruler of the sea. I really didn't understand why it was so hard, but I see now.

I now not much of the game, is waterbased, but a shark-race could lower the traveling time between IC- Bravil- Leyawijn by swimming(the shark would obviously have a huge water-moving advantage to other races).

 

I know there are many odd races out there, like steel argonians, and rock druid, but....come on!

This race would take some time to do, and the outcome would be excellent.

I'll scroll trough the "races" index to see if I find some other cool races to add.

And know, to really answer your questions :

 

1. I am aware of the possibilities of making this race. Vagrant0 pretty much told me of its impossibl'ity.

It would take much time and be very demanding, and since I don't have the skills of modding, I'm out.

 

2. Because I just thought the game need One! more beast-race.A more water-based race, coz there is no water-like creature in the bunch. I really don't consider the argonian-race to be of water.They just seem like a desert-lizard.

With this race, time in the water would be faster, and the travel between some cities would be slightly lowered. The shark-race would swim really fast :) and have water-breathing. I've worked on lots of special powers for this race.

 

3. Yes, that would be awesome. Maybe the race-option becomnes more valid after a shark-creature, is made? :)
