Sorry if this topic has been covered already, I'm late to the this issue since I haven't used any mods that cause this, so I'm just gathering info on what all it effects and how to avoid it.

 

I'm working on a mod that will place numerous objects into the world as part of a quest. These objects will be placed in very close proximity to settlements, possibly crossing into their actual cell. I obviously would like to avoid the cell reset.

 

Are there any known workarounds currently? I was thinking about maybe placing the objects in the world using script when the quest starts instead of editing the cells to place them, but that would be a little tricky, since they need to be wired to other references for the scripts/quest.
