Mouse-Swing Grenade-Throw Mechanics?

Does anyone think the engine could support the ability to calculate force and trajectory via a mouse swing?

 

Basically, you hold down a button for a grenade and swivel the camera back with the mouse, then swivel forward and then release at a given point to calculate speed and direction.

 

Speed=Mouse movement speed at point of release

 

Direction=Character's Y positive starting from X axis point upon release of grenade button.
