Help with creating a body replacer

I've been experimenting with creating a body replacer for a melee based female character. I started by using Skims but it doesn't look quite right to me.

 

I started by importing skims' athletic body and then deleting the actual body leaving just the "CAPS" and the "MEATS". After doing that I imported my model and selected every vertex group using the athletic body as an example. With that done I resized the body until it fit over everything and so that they fell into the same "category". I exported it and opened it in nifskope. In nifskope I simply copied my NiTriShapes over the Athletic body's. That worked correctly with the exception of the textures that didn't load onto my new model. Sooo... I then exported it into a .nif and used mine to replace skims' old one. I opened it in the geck but the body appeared invisible when I previewed it in the race window. I can't figure out what I did wrong but I assume it as to do with missing textures are missing lightings.

 

I should add that I never textured it but I did try a few times with absolutely no success...

 

If anybody has any experience I would be more than thankful if you could look over the files that I screwed up. I would assume that you only need the .blend and .nif that I was trying to replace. I was also wondering if anyone would be able to texture it or help me create a texture.
