Staff enchantment mod.

Only found ugly wood staves and I can't choose on target with enchantments

Enchantments are "on touch" only. As far as I know, there are no mods that can/do change this. You'll have to use the CS to make your custom staff enchantments.

Conduit Magic will allow you to cast 'on-target' spells through staves. It's not an enchantment, though, it uses your own magicka (and increases your skill!) every time you use the staff.

What's Supreme Magicka's staff addon? Does that come with the mod? If not I don't really need to worry about that.

My main motivation is to simply make weak staves for companions that don't 2-shot enemies. Even a 20 damage staff on a companion kills faster than my -100% resistance/40 damage spell. Kinda annoying so I hardly even made use of mages :psyduck:

It's called SM_EnchantStaff.esp. I'm not sure how you would install it using the manual version, as I use OBMM for everything. I can tell you, though, that in the OMOD version it's an option you select at some point in the installation.

However, if you don't want SM, and are just looking for enchantable staves, this mod should work for you. You may need to combine it with Conduit Magic, though, as apparently 'on target' enchants aren't available by default. However, I don't know if that will work for companions.

The only other option I can think of would be to create custom staves in the CS.

Now, why not use the CS? You can make infinite amounts of spells for enchantments there. They all work.

That's just annoying. Plus you have to get into the moment when thinking of something new and I don't feel like firing up the CS every second.

I tested out Conduit. Works, cept it's just.... magical twigs. Guess it's better than a sharp twig in the eye :psyduck: Will it work with other blank staff mods? Plus it's REALLY useful if you want something that would otherwise, leave you with just 15 charges or w/e.

Found and tested this out http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12741. Awsome. Obviously won't work with Conduit though.
