SadPanda64
Newbie here, and I know NOTHING of mods except of how to insert them into the data folder and activate em. Anyways, does anyone know where a multiple companion mod is so I can have more then two companions? I'm sure someone has done this, but google isn't being helpful, so does anyone know where this mod is located at? I'm of course looking for the Fallout new vegas version only, not the fallout 3 one. Thanks for your guys help if I get some c:
drakeelvin
There are a number of mods if you search the site they are hard to miss. This one has been very popular: Unlimited Companions Here is one cool example that allows radio commands to all of them at once -- I never tried it though just FYI :) Recruit All Companions and Radios One thing I will mention is that at certain places in the game having more than one robot and one humanoid companion at a time (from the game standard companions) can cause wierd behavior. Inside the Lucky 38 is one place, using the elevator in Vault 22 is another. This is because the standard game companions are all specially scripted for certain places and events. This does not apply to player created companions, usually you can have as many of those as you want at one time. SadPanda64
Thanks for the help! I just got one more question, more of a tech problem. I've downloaded files like http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36660 this which isn't a zip file, do I just move those to data folder? Because there isn't a option to extract them. Besides that, recently a lot of mods I've put into the data file have not been showing up on the data files list when I open the game. (You know, where I tick which mods I want on and off) Dunno why that happens, and I try to see if I don't need to tick em and just start the game, however they don't show up. What am I doing wrong? drakeelvin
Tailor Maid is an awesome mod, good choice :) Those are 7Z files, they use the free compression program 7-ZIP When I opened the Tailor Maid 7Z archive I had to descend down through his directory to find the Tailor Maid.esp, the readme and the meshes folder, then I extracted ALL those into the NV data folder. Hope that makes sense.

I'm pretty sure I can use Mod Manager to work the rest of the mods that aren't currently on the data files list. Thanks for all your help c:
