Wheres my ammo?

I recently installed a weapons mod and now almost all my shotguns use an ammo called --12ga.(AP)--, but I cannot find any anywhere.

Can't even make it.

I tried Calibre and CalibreX mods and updates to see if it would fix this, but it doesn't.

I looked in GECK but it says my shotgun(s) uses 12ga. ammo list so I dont see the error.

Any help would be nice, even if it's just how to make a compatible ammo.

PS: Can't really remember which mod did me in. Either WestSide Munitions, WSMSpas12, Shrapnel or Stalker mod I think are at fault, but I would like to keep them all if possible.

Hope someone can help me.

Thanks

verify which mod is the problem mod first by deactivating the weapons mods one at time. Post back with which mod is causing the problem. I do not use any of those mods and I do not want to down load and install all of them. Much easier for to you tell us which mod is the problem mod then if necessary I will down load that one and the calibre mods and we can go from there

By the way have you checked your mods in FNVedit yet?

Thanls for the help.

1º No I have not tried FNVedit.

But I need to clarify somewhat.

If I don't have my shotgun equipped, it shows that it uses 12 ga. AP (0/0) = 0 bullets in chamber and 0 on me. Or so it says.

But if I equipt it, it goes and says it uses 12 ga. (6/94) = 6 in the chamber and 94 more on me.

So I can use it but it just changes when I equipped it. So I can't see the Nº or make of the shells. :wallbash:

The Mod that I beleive is at fault, is STAKER WEAPONS MOD. When I activate it, it changes all my shotguns. ALL. Even ones from other mods. But I can use them curious enough. But they always say I have no ammo. They always want 12 ga. AP, but all I have is 12 ga. buckshots and they work even when they say they arn't supposed to.

Anyways, thanks for the help and I think I'll just leave the mod deactivated so as not to accidentally think I got no ammo when I really do. :wallbash:

I have too many as it is. LoL!!! 200 too many. jejeje

Again thanks and damn AP bullets jajjaa

Sounds like what is happening is Staker is overwrittting or being overwritten by another one of you weapons mods. FNVedit should show you which one is overwriting which. Hopefully then it would just be matter of arranging the weapons mods load order.

No idea never used ammolist mods, but did you try putting some standard 12ga rounds in your inventory and press '2' to see if it has an ammo list that cycles? Sometimes stuff ends up at the top of the ammo list so its just the default type but maybe you can change it.

By what you describe, the weapon still uses a LIST of ammo types it can use, it just happens that AP is the default. The same happens with Obsidian's vanilla weapons anyway. E.g., it would say that I only have 6 normal 5.56mm rounds for my assault rifle, when I have a couple hundred of some other type it could use, and in fact which I can force it to use. The weapons list in the PipBoy is a bit dumb like that. I wouldn't worry about it much.

Yes that could be the case. But it totally depends on what the mod author did. Since we don't know what mod is doing it, impossible to tell from this end unless he tests it out.

A mod could change the gun to use only AP, or to use a new AmmoList that includes the new round, or the mod may have updated the default AmmoList in which case it might even be caused by a conflict with another mod.

Only thing to do is to try disabling mods then adding them back one at a time to narrow down which one (or ones) are affecting the shotgun.
