Smashy
Is anyone eagerly awaiting Fable? the new rpg for xbox, your suposed to start as a child and do what ever you want from the moment you begin your character (there is a main quest but ive read it can be ignored). and what you do afects your aperance, your fighting class (rouge, mage, fighter, etc.), and how you will be preceved as an adult, for instince if you steal, murder, etc. you will gain a notorious or imfamous reputation and be feared where ever you go, and if you are gallant, always helping people, etc. you will gain a good reputation. I belive that fable will challenge (or even surpass) morrowind's current rank as one of the best non-multiplayer rpgs.

Ancalagon
Yes, Oh YES!!! By all that is Holy and Good! I read an article about it with some screenshots about a year and ahalf ago, and I am waiting for it to be released onto the PC so I can play it. It looks freakin' awsome...I love the realism that they are involving with it like scars andthe player's appearance as time wears on. I hope it doesn't end up a flop. And I agree as it may surpass MWs greatness, may even swamp it.

Ancalagon
Yeah, you start out a boy and it basically is like living life. All of your actions have consequences. Go to the Big Blue Box website to read the FAQ or info on it. It is a totally immersive game, since it spans a LIFETIME!

Ancalagon
Here it is www.bigbluebox.com, just type that in and try looking for the info on Fable. Also, does anyone know its release date? I need to know if it will be out before or after Christmas and if it will be coming to the PC.
Smashy
i cant remember where but i saw a crap load of screen shots, even a few of them casting spells, and let me tell you the spells are some of the best looking ive ever seen, the fire based spells realy looked like fire! and the forests.....morrowinds tooth pick trees do not compare to the lush forests in fable, and finaly from the monsters that ive seen it looked like there are golems, giants, spriggan like creatures, spirits or ghosts of some kind, and a whole myriad of other nastys and wildlife. And I almost forgot, you can get tatoos, as well as battle scars, your skin gose pale if your inside or only nocturnal, and it tans if your outside in the day most of the time, and the one thing i like the most...you dont have to use doors to go inside....you can use windows! or anything else that lets you inside.....mabey even bash down walls! well have to wait till march (the suposed release date) to see for our selfs! TSBasilisk
I saw this. By Peter Molyneux, the mastermind of the Dunegon Keeper games and Black and White. If I had an XBox or any chance of having one, I'd be frothing after that one. But instead, I sit here in my house, with only my PC. Good luck, Fable. :bye:
MajKrAzAm
So you start as a kid then you become an adult, so what happens when you become an old man do you die of old age or something? -MajKrAzAm
