Adding more ability icons on the battle screen

I've got evac-all, overwatch-all, steady aim, beatdown, so on and so forth, and... well, I ran out of icons. Sometimes my soldiers can't throw grenades because it won't have the full icon list. Is there an easy way to add more icons? If not, I'll throw something into the mod request, but I can't find something to increase the number of selectable abilities on the tactical screen.
