House Mod Idea Opinions please

So the basement im makeing for my house mod is very dark inside. Torches lite the room where ever they are placed. Ive always a felt a basement for a necromancer should be very dark inside. So thats what i wanted to do. for example theres a house mod called the country house. The basement is meant for a necromancer but is very lightened. Would you want a lighted basement? or a dark errie basement to perform your experiments on your specimens.

A dark basement would be good for immersion but actual use it depends on how dark you are talking about, I would have both options so people can pick.

If I was performing experiments I'd want adequate lighting.

 

For immersion I love dreary areas with just enough lighting to highlight important areas.
