s0tka
Some of the NPCs' lines change depending on what gender the player character is. Raiders will call you "little f*cker" if you're a guy, and "little b*tch" if you're a girl, et cetera. Is there a way to change which gender's lines the NPCs use for you, without changing your character's actual gender? Could I do this on FO4edit? I've thought of just replacing the audio files of the lines I want to change, but I'd like to find a better solution than that. I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me to the right direction with this, even if nobody were to know the exact way to do it... Thanks! ThoraldGM
Found it. 0006F153 in FO4Edit. Function GetIsSex, option Female. I downloaded Zilav's Full dialogues and voices files list and searched for the text. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7273/?
s0tka
Now why didn't I think of that... Thank you so much! Just with that info I've already succeeded in tweaking the few things that were on my mind, but how would I go about editing at a larger scale? Is there a way to search and find all of the dialogue affected by the GetIsSex function? I'm assuming I'd have to use some sort of script for that. ThoraldGM
I was hoping someone more knowledgeable would chime in. I use Build Reference Info to find associated files in FO4Edit, but I don't know how one would do the same for all function references. It would be a nice ability to have. Seems like I frequently want to read functions or scripts I can't find :-/
s0tka
Alright, thank you anyway! I'll see if the people at /r/xedit can take a crack at it.
