RubikNight Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 The mods that work for me are body replacers or streamline or water/uniuqe l;andscapes. Armor, weapons, CM Partners race mods, dont show up. Idk if its because I recentryl reinstalled Oblivion or what.

What version of the game - retail, retail GOTY, Steam, other?What OS, Win7, Vista, XP, other?Where is it installed? Default, other? First guess, you have a retail version and either Vista or Win7 and installed to the default location. If so, you are the latest victim of the dreaded Windows UAC - UAC is a security feature that was not part of WinXP and considers mods as possible threats. UAC is an overzealous program, but only protects those programs installed in the 'program files' folders - which is the default place that the game installs. :rolleyes: Best fix is NOT to disable UAC as that leaves a back door open for viruses. Instead, uninstall the game and reinstall outside of the protected files. Prefered location is C:\Games\Oblivion, but anywhere except the C:\Program files or program files (x86) will work.
