nyde21
Besides Fallout Mod Manager. What else do I need for installing mods? Is there another necessary program I need?
ThelebKaarna
1. NVSE (New Vegas Script Extender) which is required for a good deal of mods to function properly. 2. FNVEdit for mod conflict detection/resolution, merged patch creation. Download and learn the FNVEdit Training Manual 3. B.O.S.S.for NV for Mod Load Order maniipulation. Other helpful utilities: 4. New Vegas Configator (For help w/ setting game option/.ini tweaks) 5. NVSR (New Vegas Stutter Remover) 6. Better Game Performance 7. 4gb Fallout New Vegas 8. Fake Full Screen Mode Windowed 9. Wrye Flash NV for more advanced everything... That should get you started nicely. Have fun :D
nyde21
Jesus christ! I need all of these just to play a modded game? Now that I thought about. All I remember using was FOMM and NSVE. And everything was just fine.
ThelebKaarna
^^^ In addition to FOMM, #'s 1-3 are the only essential ones IMO. And #9 if you go advanced. The others are more-or-less helpful utility mods for tweaking and enhanced performance (No, that's not what she said).
