HeLLNmI
I spent a number of experiments with other mods. Disabling \ remove any cause CTD. Therefore it is not your fault and DEF_INV should be returned =)
Deleted4610270User
Why not just ignore the e-mails and complaints? I updated to 1.4.132 and DEV_INV + DEV_HUD worked just fine for me! I do not use NewDialog, but I do use Full Dialogue Interface. No problems or CTD's! All I have are small-time bugs, like some icons not applying to some legendary weapons. BTW, to benefit from DEF_HUD bug fixes, do we need to re-create our HUD from scratch and save it OR can the old HUD file be used? I do hope you come back when GECK gets released! You'll be able to re-do this mod and make it like SkyUI!
Alpha0ne
Haha. For such a great mod developer you are really giving up so easy? Maybe you should also see that there are also people who appreciate what you are doing. And your mods are one of the usefulliest on FO4.Big thanks from my side. I hope you will stay over your anger about some newbies (we all have been once upon a time  )See you soon bro'. Edited March 4, 2016 by Alpha0ne

Monrovae
I appreciate all the work you put into your mods Neanka and sharing them with us, and the time you took supporting them. You could have just ignored the false bug reports, but I understand why. Just reading the comment sections of popular mods makes my blood boil sometimes with how ignorant and lazy people can be, but that is their problem (not yours). It's unfortunate that it has come to this for you.

If you ignore them, the users PM you. If you ignore the PMs, they comment in forum threads you post in, PM you on other sites, or in my case, track you down on Facebook. Most modders are internally motivated. We don't mod for your appreciation, we mod because we enjoy it. Whether or not thousands of people like your work does nothing to make dealing with hassle less fun- and the way to make that hassle go away and make the hobby fun again is to keep modding, just stop engaging with the Nexus. Then again, Nash would be disappointed if we left a Game Theory move out of our gaming... When we share, teach, communicate, and engage with others we raise the level of the game for everyone, including ourselves. No reason not to engage with snark or stick up a "Gone Gaming" sign on your mod pages... Unavailable for support, sorta of thing. Its a huge part of "internal motivation" a kind of quid pro quo. An unspoken benefit - game theory. That said, hearing some people are skipping modders down like debtors that owe others, when modders are unavailable, shows quite a lack of manners to put it lightly. Hard to "ban" those types of people - flippin' sounds like cyber stalking from mainstream news (scary to off-putting). Pretty obvious Neanka is burned out in this element of gaming, right now. And that Talkie Toaster isn't real pleased that someone hunted him down personally outside of where the mod is supported and posted. Doesn't sound like too much fun, at all. You don't need anyone's permission to stop engaging with Nexus, as a whole. Frankly, your level of the game is beyond most and it shows through with quite a good many modders. I, actually, find that element entertaining and will miss that. ^^ Seeing those two elements engage can be something... educational and entertaining! krakjen
I was just coming to ask about this. NMM was telling me that DEF_INV has a new version, clicked the magnet link to bring up his mod page on nexus, and 'page not found'. Has he violated ToS somehow? Can't imagine how someone does that with HUD modding, though. I had the same issue the first time I installed the mod. There is something wrong with your HUD XML, Did you generate it with HUDMenuSet.swf and save it in the DEF_CONF folder?
