ENYGMATION
SOLVED. Fallout & my life are now functional again. Hey. Something is causing my Fallout 4 to crash when I load a save from earlier today. And I might know what is causing it?Soooo when I start downloading a mod and my NMM opens, it always opens a little window that asks me if I want to plugins.txt read-only (it might also say "not read-only" but just not sure) and i always press yes to continue. But this time I put it to remember the selection and since then, I haven't been able to load any old saves without a crash. The screen just turns to black and "Fallout has stopped working."Could the selection thing be the cause (and can i somehow reset it or something like that?) or is this just some other bullcrap? I'd really like my +80 hours saves back. Thanks in advance. //EDIT: I can make a new save and load it though. jesstray
I created a post yesterday regarding this same issue. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3861200-the-latest-update-is-causing-fallout-4-crash-while-trying-to-load-saved-file/ I was able to fix mine by disabling robot home defence. I hope this helps.
