Amineri Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Resources are just X2ItemTemplates. This means that creating a new resource is as simple as creating a new ability, at least mechanically. I'd look in X2Item_DefaultResources for examples of how the games creates resources such as 'supplies', 'AlienAlloy', 'EleriumDust' and 'EleriumCore'.
