I'll try to explain what I remember. BTW, I am using Google Translate so you could expect minor mistakes in text. As I recall in that mod (among other quests) I've wandered through a grove of trees, and I've discovered the entrance to the underground hideout. I went inside and saw an elderly man sitting beside the fire where the scorching ox,brahmin. He offered me to eat and was very welcoming and I asked him his name ( I don't remeber his name) and he told me that he lived in that house (hideout) with his wife for so many years and that she had recently died and he was left alone. Than he asked me to do him a favor, to bring some prescriptions to a doctor in the nearest town and to bring medicines to him back. I agreed to this, and I went to town and brought him medicine he needed. However, when I returned I found an old man lying in bed, died in the meantime. I was so sorry for the old man. On the table I saw a message he wrote before he died. It was intended for me. He told me in his letter to look for a key from his safe and he told me that I can get everything I want from his personal safe, because he hasn't had any children or relatives , to gave that stuff to them, and I was very kind to him so it's mine now. There, in the safe, among other things I found a hunting rifle, modified (and with a scope if I remember correctly). Since then I have gladly used that hunting rifle whenever I had a chance because it reminded me of that old hunter, and it was very accurate. That is it, I would be glad if someone could point me to some link or whatever to find that mod or specific quest. Also I think that location of hunter's underground hideout was somewhere around Jacobstown and Ranger Station Foxtrot because there is a lot of trees and Jacobstown have a medical station , but I am not quite sure If I am correct. That is exactly what I was looking for. I've played it for a while. Although, the "old hunter" was not so old at all! :ermm: His hunting rifle didn't have scope on it and he even didn't said anything about trip to nearest town to bring him medicaments. sullyvanj93 Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 one of the quests BEFORE the hunter quest is bringing him his meds from the doc in the New Vegas Medical Clinic.
