Raella69
Take this, for example. This is a great player home; not too outlandish, pretty lore-friendly and not entirely overwhelming. It's good. But the location of it is shitty. I'm wondering what are some good homes that have cool s*** in them, but not like the Underwater home (I don't want to be overwhelmed by too many places to put my stuff you know?) and places that aren't near the beginning of the game. Any suggestions?
drakeelvin
Well I think this home raises the bar. All the textures and furnishings look like they were done by a professional interior designer/decorator, the natural light in the solarium is amazing, and the interior ambience, color and lighting are second to none. It's worth visiting just to see the solarium (i.e. glass enclosed front porch). Bonds Hacienda del Sol

laochra
So what type of location you looking for? Isolated Shack or City Dwelling? Small town hovel or abandoned bunker?
Raella69
So what type of location you looking for? Isolated Shack or City Dwelling? Small town hovel or abandoned bunker?Something secluded, unlike that fancy home which is located in the Khan camp. Something like the Wolfhorn Ranch, only not that haha. laochra
I was considering making a home in Wolfhorn Ranch, infact this made me think of it again! :L The only thing would be that whole Ulysees thing, hes meant to have lived there and I didn't want to intrude on a possible expansion. Sunnie
The Underground Hideout is the best player home mod for NV, in my opinion. It has a lot of features, it's not buggy, and you can move the entrance with an included in game tool.

First place I ever thought of for a cool wasteland prospector home was the Goodsprings Shack, that's the one next to the Yangtze Memorial. The nearby radscorpions will take care of most poachers and potential thieves, too.
Raella69
You know, I kind of like this one. But what I'm trying to find out is, where it is located in regards to the Wasteland, and how many… places are there for you to put your stuff? I just don't want to be overwhelmed. Like, the Wolfhorn Ranch has the right amount of containers but I am bored with it. Even the suites you get in The Strip are too much for me, so does anyone know how this fares?Or this, but it seems like it is the extreme of what I want, which I don't want at all. I feel like I am either being unclear or contradicting myself.Something like this is perfect, but this is a F3 mod so it is useless to me.
Sunnie
Ultimately, you are going to have to decided for yourself which one you like. It's not hard to list all of the home mods, and reading the description on most of them will give you a sense of whether you want to try it or not.
