siamatti
Hi, could somebody help me, please While unpacking the BSA, I realized that many items (FO3 and DLC) are embedded in the FNV-Vanilla Software but not considered to be playable.Just integrating the meshes and textures do not enlist them to choose for usage. So you have to "sacrifice" another item to make themfuctional in the gameplay. What do I have to do, to add the items to listings ( armor for example) shown in the G.E.C.K.? Thank youMatti
Moraelin
Hmm? I'm not sure how you want to sacrifice one item to make room for another item. But anyway, most such items are actually playable, just not placed in the game. E.g., DLC weapons or some outfits. So, really, you'd just need to place them somewhere. The ones which aren't, well, you can duplicate another item of the same type in the GECK, and just set the copy to use the mesh you found. Then place them in the game somewhere. siamatti
Hi Moraelin, thank you for your quick reply. Let me give you an example: I want to embed the Chinese Commando Jumpsuit in FNV. So I integrated meshes and textures found in the BSA to my data string, which didn`t let me chose it in the G.E.C.K. armor listing. But I don`t want to use another jumpsuit with the textures and meshes of the Chinese one. please answer me once more Matti
Moraelin
Well, if you're lucky, the jumpsuit is already in there too, just not placed in the game world. As I was saying, lots of outfits are. In which case you don't really have to do anything special, except give it to yourself with player.additem The Chinese stealth armor for example is already there under IDs 0015fd5c and 0015fd5d. If not, you'd have to make a new item that uses those meshes. The easiest way is to clone another suit or armor and then change it to the name and meshes you wish. What I'm saying is that "another jumpsuit with the textures and meshes of the Chinese one" IS the chinese jumpsuit. I can understand why you wouldn't want to replace something existing, but if you make a new non-replacing item, then if the end result looks and is named like the chinese one, then that's that, it IS a chinese jumpsuit.
