megamog
Problem: I come to a new are/ruin/fort etc.. And some of the creatures are dead when I find them.example: fort ash, the two goblins at the top where alive as I came up the stairs (I think, cause my sneak would show if they saw me a bit then when I stopped moving it went back to normal) but as I cam up to them I found them dead on the ground.example: in another Fort Nikel, half the people in the are with the water were dead as well. a few lived and fought just fine. I am only level 2.I play a chocolate elf and I have WAY to many mods to list. My Oblivion has been heavily Moded probably somewhere in the upper 400 mod rangeI have combined a lot of mods but never experienced any problems. I know I should take off the mods just before I get to fort ash and see if they live, then go from there. So I will start that but like I said there are a lot of them.if anyone has an idea I would be grateful.I do have body mods and bbb and leveling has been redone. sheep bombs, all kids of stuff
Tamujiin
Its rather simple really, that happens if you have OOO, or MMM as the different factions will kill each other, as you are only level 2 its okay. A good way to stop that is learn how to make a proper bashed patch. You are always going to come across dead things though, its naturally a part of the game. Now if everything in the game is dead that would be different, my advice, play the game and if it seems to many things are dead, then you have a problem. Making a proper bashed patch can help expecially if you have a lot of mods, Its a simple process really, and if you screw something up there is a back up bashed patch in the mopy folder, a few things to know if you make a bashed patch, Don't bash all the tweaks, you have to pick them, don't bash cobl options if you don't have cobl. Pretty much all options in the bashed patch from alias mod names, to the end of the options that say import can all be bashed. Bashed patch isnt't going to let you screw something up in your game, if you follow what i said. Take yer time and get familiar with the bashed patch. Thats all theoretical though, i don't know your load order. or if you are cleaning the mods that require it. I could point out the specific problem if you posted your load order. megamog
Thanks Tamujiin : I came to the same conclusion about finding it normally in Oblivion. Seems it is a byproduct of my low level. The dead creatures at Fort ash are dead in the editor.as for Fort Nikel it was a level issue. to low and the game kills off a few to help you out.Not trying to play as a low level character just set off for adventure and ran across this stuff. Thanks again. oh and I don't use OOO or MMM, didn't like them, but Sheep bomb......... It's a classic ;)
