summerbreton Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 I reinstalled Oblivion after having the hard disk reformatted, added the Official Oblivion patch to update, and then tried to add some mods. I tried using NMM and OMM and installed a few mods. I verified that they were installed in the Launch Data File, and started the game. None of them showed up in the game. I installed the unofficial Oblivion patch. Still nothing. Have I missed an essential step? I haven't done this in a long time, so I might have forgotten something.I don't know if this is relevant, but I've been using an old saved game for testing. Do I need to start a new game to have the mods take effect?The thing is, now that I've played Oblivion with mods, it seems so bland without them and I'd like to get them back.Thank you, Vicki Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
