Unlimitedrevolver
After reading both of their stories on a Fallout wiki, I was thinking that the Hanged Man's story is a lot creepier and mysterious, so is there anyway the Honest Hearts DLC could be modded in a way that makes it more true to Van Buren's Hanged Man? Finding him hanged(and alive), him getting angry at tribes, causing you bad fortune if you recruit him, etc. Also giving the option to settle the problems between him, the tribes, and Caesar's Legion(if you killed Caesar you should be able to calm his anger towards the Legion). laochra
Well the Hanged man still was burned as well. I think it would be feasible to create a new npc in Zion after honest hearts is over who is basically a copy of Graham who can be a companion, except sort of like the dog from Fallout 2 who made bad things happen, a cursed companion. I expected him to be more badass. You could manipulate some of his current dialogue but it would probably not be great, unless you could find someone who sounds like him. The Hanged man technically is the Burned man/Graham, having two Burned men, who both are super strong and don't die easy, would be kind of odd plot-wise.His voice doesn't sound as mean as it should be, so maybe a new voice actor would be better? Also now that you mention it, having the Pariah Dog would be awesome, lol.
laochra
I know But you were making out they were divergent characters. What Im saying is that as an example to make a mr Burke companion what they did was after his quest was over, they made an identical npc without the attached scripts/quests to jumble the process. You could make an identical burned man through the same process. His Armour could be a lot cooler and I imagined him a bad ass mo fo, instead we get a missionary. Unlimitedrevolver
I know But you were making out they were divergent characters.I guess it did sound like that, but what I meant was that he had an alternate back story. You could make an identical burned man through the same process. Hey, I know, he could be added in a new area mod!His Armour could be a lot cooler and I imagined him a bad ass mo fo, instead we get a missionary.I imagined him to be covered in wraps(like he is), but with torn merc clothing and that the wrap would be over one eye.I imagined him to be like Jericho(personality-wise), just extremely evil and angry, but nice to the player because you saved(?) him. I also thought he would have a revolver, that he would hold sideways when shooting, and that he would beat up people if he ran out of ammo lol. To make sure he's balanced, he should:+ not die unless he gets hit with something real bad(like Megaton bad)+ add 10 barter to you+ have all of his skills near max- take your luck down by 5- take your speech down by 10- attack Caesar's Legion and fiends.- make people automatically hate you(unless your Charisma is higher than 8 ) Edited June 1, 2011 by Unlimitedrevolver
