DarkAnsem
I'm having serious trouble in importing custom 3d models to an existing skeletal mesh. I use blender and maya.Specifically, I want to assign another humanoid mesh to the Adv trooper Skeletal Mesh, in order to keep the same bones and animation possibilities. importing to maya the FBX makes the model appear gigantic, in blender it works fine.Any suggestion? Twizzler77
It's mostly personal preference, to be honest. Maya is more popular and used industry-wide but both can be used. As far the scale issues, you should just be able to scale it back down to size. Or, import into Blender and then export it out of Blender and into Maya and see if that fixes the scale. DarkAnsem
you mean, import into blender as FBX then export as another FBX and import into maya?
Twizzler77
Yup, worth a try at least to get the scale right.

DarkAnsem
Done that. but Maya still shows it as gigantic.Maybe it's maya's scale that is pre-set for microscopic stuff?
