Diagonal Movement

I've searched through a lot of animation mods, English and Japanese, and haven't yet come across something that addresses diagonal movement in Oblivion. I'm referring to that sideways glide your character enters when he or she is running forward or backward while you press 'a' or 'd' on the keyboard.

 

Is it possible to create animations for it? Like how Natural Walk lets characters walk and run in the direction we press, is it possible to create a diagonal walk and run animation that kicks in when we press two directional keys at once?
