JimArdor Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Title says it all. Is it possible to speed up greatsword's normal attacks? Anybody who played a warrior surely had this urge to just forget about timing and patience and happily slash enemies with greater speed. And while we're at it, would it be possible to speed up "casting" of skills as well (Arc of Deliverence for example)? If anybody has the knowledge and skills to do this, please, help us warriors out. Maybe make several options available, like 30% (not entirely game breaking) / 70% (fun option) / 150% (Berserk-level rampage) increase.
Signette Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Ok, I looked into this stuff, the thing I may be able to do is increase core skill attack speed, but regarding other abilities I simply have no idea what they are... Devs screwed spell names pretty hard, but seems like with melee they went even further, the only close thing I found were japanese names of fighting techniques, LOL. If you can translate to me what names like: Hakai, Houdai, Yari, Kyuuinjin, Kaen mean, it may shed some light on what I'm dealing with. Btw, if you could provide savegame with levelled warrior with all core skills unlocked I may start testing slashing speed tweaks. And btw, you need only Greatswords or Warhammers too?

Unfortunately I can't speak Japanese so I won't be of much help. However a friend of mine used to learn Japanese, so he might provide some translation and context. Nevertheless I know for certain that Yari is a long spear (google confirms it). If we were talking about core skills it would seem logical to connect it with Transfix/Eviscerate. But since it's not about them, maybe it has something to do with a long range attack, like Savage Lunge? As for the others, based on various translations found on the internet, I can't reasonably put them in context. Perhaps my friend will help and shed some light. Ones I suspected have core skills in them appeared not, instead I found actual abilities, so scrap those jap names I guess. Messed with values and all I could achive is change in stamina drain rate. Now I have no freaking idea where actual core skills may be... Gotta mess with more values, that's gonna be some chore =/ If stumble upon anything useful, gonna update.
