LE Witchers in Skyrim (+quest)

After playing some witcher mods,i realised that introducing armors /weapons/characters from the Witcher in Skyrim is not quite the solution .What i was thinking is adapting the Witcher in Skyrim,meaning instead of copying the assets from the witcher wolrd,why not make new ones(such as armors,weapons,characters) that feel like they belong to the Elder Scrolls world.

 

 

Some ideas for gameplay:

-The quest should be able to make you a witcher too( the trial of grasses was"improved" so now it allows a mature person to become a witcher)

 

-You should be able to make your follower or any friendly person(if they want) a witcher .After a period of time,they should start their jurney on " the path".It would be cool to make the AI to take contracts,so while exploring Skyrim you could bump into a witcher follower who took a contract for a giant for example.

 

-The armors/weapons for the witcher school should be inspired from both skyrim and the witcher.

 

-the witcher signs(Tough there are many mods already covering withcer powers)

 

-the witcher combat animations(there is already a mod released, for sword animations,and it looks awensome but it would be nice to add more combat styles if possible)

-some minor tweaks in the npc -player relation sistem.if you are a witcher,you will have higher buying prices(in some places),some would even refuse to speak with you(nazeem for example.having him silent would be nice),sometimes you wouldn't have acces to a city until you prove useful(for example,the guards won't let the" human scum" in Windhelm until he kills a monster or pays a toll)

 

-monster contracts :you should be able to negotiate the pay with the npc issuing the contract .The mission should have 2 parts:the investigation (searching for clues about the monster) and the fight with the monster.

 

 

I have some ideas for a short quest that could introduce witcher in skyrim.

Some centuries ago,an elven sage that traveled between worlds ,arrived in Tamriel and brought some people with him to start a new life in this alien world.They've build an secluded settlement hidden in mountains(location unknown) .But,it was far from a quiet life,because the land was filled with monsters.

 

Since they didn't wanted to make contact with the inhabitants of great continent,and thus,being on their own against the dangers of the new land,the elven sage decided to go back to his world,and bring a witcher.It took some time to find and convince one to follow his plan ,but ,after some weeks,he returned with a monsterslayer by his side.

 

Being protected,they prospered ,and soon,the monsters in the area of the settlement were no more.The monsterslayer left the settlement and went in a long jurney across Tamriel to make a witcher school and recruit more people to fight monsters.

 

In 50 years ,the number of witchers increased,and soon entered in conflinct with other monster hunters guilds,such as the vigilants of Stendar.The vigilants started a propaganda campaign against the witchers and made the people belive that witchers are evil ,spread desease and kidnap people to torture them.

 

Some fell to this lie,others choose to trust the witchers.Thus,the popularity of the witchers diminished,but they still took contracts and roamend Tamriel in search for monsters.

 

The people of Tamriel didn;t call them witchers,just monster hunters,so the term"witcher" was used just by the witchers,being considered a tradition and a reminder of who they trully were:muntants stripped of emotions.

 

Now,turning to the dragonborn timeline,the witchers have expanded even more,and have 4 schools .A witcher called Arnvald ,member of the school of the bear from Cyrodil,started an expedition to skyrim to start a new school.

 

Once in Skyrim,he meets the dragonborn an,trough a short questline,they choose a location for the new witcher castle, the name(The school of the dragon sounds great) and representative armors and weapons.

 

That's all for now,and i hope someone sees this and makes a mod because it would be awensome to play as a witcher.
