Normal Map problem

I'm at my wits end with this. I'm trying to make a re-textured hood to match some armor, but I just can't seem to get it right. Its not showing up on my char ingame. I know the problem is it can't find the normall map, but I've followed every instruction to the letter. My basic file path is as follows.

 

Data\Meshes\Clothes\WhiteHood\sacwhitehood.nif

Data\Meshes\Clothes\WhiteHood\sacwhitehood_gnd.nif

Data\Meshes\Clothes\WhiteHood\sacwhitehood.egm

Data\Textures\Clothes\WhiteHood\sacwhitehood.dds

Data\Textures\Clothes\WhiteHood\sacwhitehood_n.dds

 

Can someone PLEASE help before I loose more hair.

 

Please also note:

The gnd model ingame comes out at a shade of purple (the "can't find texture" error)

AND

The mesh (gnd and nromal) load fine in nifskope.

I managed to fix it. For some reason when I used nifskope to edit the textures it stopped working. I re-extracted the base meshes from the bsa and did it with another program (tr). You can lock this.
