dmosser
Hi guys, new to the forum. I'm trying to set a up a more traditional "halo-style" control system for Fallout, but I'm missing a melee key. Ideally, it would: -Change to Melee Weapon (perhaps in number key slot 1)-Melee Continuously while Held-Change back to Primary Weapon upon release (perhaps, though not neccessarily, in slot 4) Any thought or ideas? Moraelin
I'm pretty sure you can assign weapons to hotkeys in New Vegas, though I haven't actually used that much. I see no reason why you couldn't use a melee weapon too in one such slot.
Unlimitedrevolver
Hi guys, new to the forum. I'm trying to set a up a more traditional "halo-style" control system for Fallout, but I'm missing a melee key. Ideally, it would: -Change to Melee Weapon (perhaps in number key slot 1)-Melee Continuously while Held-Change back to Primary Weapon upon release (perhaps, though not neccessarily, in slot 4) Any thought or ideas? Well that would be a simple solution... so I think you should ask for a more difficult one.You might be thinking  , but you should just go with it. First, you'll need a modder/animator(I can't mod if my life depended on it), some type of dual-wield mod, then some glue, tape, and a saw. Next you'll take the dual-wield mod's concept, stuff the knife onto the player's left hand, attaching it like on Assassin's Creed, create a melee animation, then assign the button for the knife. Edit: glue, tape, and saw are not included, nor due they need to be. Requires knife(any), dual-wield mod, and modder/animator(not included). If you experience any problems, errors, headaches, questions, and/or general dislike of this post, you should ignore it's existence.
