Skyrim Crashing When Loading New Area

Heartbleed

Recommended Posts

Alright so I'm probably an idiot who's installed mods that shouldn't go together but bear with me. I had it working for about 10 minutes, I could load into new cells and everything just fine and then it randomly crashed and now I can't do anything except load my save and sit in that one area. I move too far and the game crashes, I try to fast travel or load into anywhere else and the game crashes. I have a crapton of mods so. My computer specs are an i5 4670k, GTX 750Ti, 16gb RAM. I'm using Mod Organizer. I've run LOOT, both the one built into MO and the standalone through MO. I'm also running SSME, I've tried 512mb and 768mb and it crashed on both.

If you need any more logs or whatever just let me know where the log should be located and I'll be sure to post it. Thank you!

Well i can see a lot of mods that sdds stuff to the world, such tpos and fallen tree bridges. Have you checked with the mod author about the compatibility between these mods?

Also are you sure the SkyRe plugins you were using is compatible with perkus maximus? I totally ditched skyre for perma.

Yeah I'll check up on the fallen trees and such. The SkyRe plugins I have installed should work with PERMA. I followed this tutorial for that:

I've done some more testing and I can load into small cells like qasmoke or some interiors fine but when I go to load into a city the game crashes. I'ma keep trying different scenarios. I don't think it's a mod conflict but I'm not ruling it out. I'm going to try raising SSME to 1gb and seeing if that works.

I'd upload my TES5Edit log but the file's too big apparently.

You are still going to need to patch Skyre I'm not seeing it's reproccer and your pama patch HAS to be at the end of load order no other esp's can be below it! Is this a manual install or with an organiser and is your load order LOOT optimised?

Edit ok a light install of Skyre doesn't require it's reproccer, but PatchusMaximus should ALWAYS be at the bottom of your load order!

Yeah I ran LOOT, so I thought everything should have been good I'm out right now but when I get home I'll try moving Patchus to the bottom of my load order.

Alright so moving Patchus didn't do a thing. Ran LOOT multiple times. Still not sure what's wrong.

Here is a hint Skyrim=scripts look at your load order I see conflict when your overwrite something and overwrite it again you will have problems. Make a plan of the game you want to play and the mods you want to use..then decide if any of those mods conflict/overwrite each other. My average play though I run anywhere from 160-200+ mods no CTD I have ran as many as 280 mods planning is foremost. I have never used the Skyrim Unofficial Patch never had and issue where I needed too... I do not use LOOT it can put things in the wrong order it is a great tool but you still need to understand conflicts and load orders. It would take to long to explain your load order but I don't think in its current state it is playable..re-think the game your trying to make...make a plan go from there.
