If someone can take a screenshot of what that looks like within the GECK, that'd be great. If it doesn't show up in the perspective view, can you direct me to the place within the GECK, where they put the images for the scenery you see out the windows of the ship? Taurni Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 As a modeler, the simplest way would be to make a big ball, then map a high rez texture of earths landscape over it, then have another big ball arround that one, with a texture map of clouds on it. Domes can also work. The "land" bubble and " cloud bubble" could move independently of each other and create the illusion of motion on the ship and of the atmosphere. I did this for a short movie I made and it is quite convincing. At that point, simply position the two bubles (or domes) where the player could not see enough of them to see that they are just massive objects in a massive cell.
