Tes construction set

Hi everyone!

First let me explain a few things;

I'm a beginer with TES construction set, but i read and try things ( i learn more by *touching* and *testing* things).

I did a special *character*, i mixed up two non-vanilla race and it work well. (for my own use)

But now, I'm trying to make my first companion mod. I found a tutorial on the nexus, read it and now i'm ready to begin.

This is this one: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/CM_Partners_-_How_to_make_one_with_a_custom_race

I'm on stage one, active the 3 needed files, change the id name, press ok when ask to create new object. Now it's time to save. But i can't change the name of the file i want to save. If i save, it will overwrite the actual one

( http://opheliau.deviantart.com/art/TES-211293720 ).

How can i change the file name to save it?

Thanks

oh! i forgot when it said:

*When prompted that ‘you have not set an active file’ click Yes to continue.*

it did not happen why?

When you activate the 3 needed files, just put check marks in the boxes. Do not double-click and set one of them to be the active file. When it asks you to confirm that you want to load without an active file, choose ok.

Sorry, my directions were wrong. :wallbash:

You should double-click them. But do not push the button "Set as Active File". From what I can see by looking at your screen shot, you did set one as active when you shouldn't have.
