davidwright
I installed the NV GECK and went to data. It shows FalloutNV.esm , the master file. I double click it and press set as active file then press OK. Nothing loads. Nothing happens. I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong but don't know what it is. I would appreciate some help. ita
If you have the latest patch for NV you'll need GECK v 1.
ccmechanic2
yes you are doing something wrong, just click the master twice but do not set it as active, press ok or continue and the geck will create a default.esp for you. once this is done you click on that file and set it active, continue and now your ready to mod. Brightwel
I got this problem as well. Turns out all the GECK files have to be put directly into the NV folder, not in their own which might happen when extracting from the zip. CeilYurei
Except we can't get geck 1.3 because bethesda took it down.
dubiousintent
That's because it's now on version 1.4 and there is a separate FNV version as well. Check the date of the last post before yours. You've resurrected a 7 years dead thread. Suggest you also check out the other tools listed in the "Geck Tools" section of the wiki "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article. Also check out the "Common Problems with GECK" section. -Dubious-
