Ceja89palben Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 When i try to open a presentation in PowerPoint 2007, I receive the following error message: PowerPoint found unreadable content in Presentation.pptx. Do you want to recover the contects of this presentation? If you trust the source of this presentation, click Yes. What’s wrong?
Surilindur Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 A quick Google search brought this up: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-word/docx-incompatible-between-word-2010-and-word-2007/2764c5ac-4f7c-4a6d-9419-9e37bddf82d8?auth=1 And there was this update mentioned, that should do something about new format compatibility: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/951944 Hopefully that helps and you can get it working. I do not use office 2007 myself, and I am not an expert, just happened to read this and used the power of the almighty Google.
DasPetz Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 You can try using open office or libre office. They're free and they support most presentation file formats.
davidmartin0 Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Follow these steps: 1. On the Home tab, in the Slides group, click New Slide, and then click Reuse Slides. 2. In the Reuse Slides pane, click Open a PowerPoint File. 3. In the Browse dialog box, locate and then click the presentation file that contains the slide that you want, and then click Open. If you are still experiencing the issue you can try PowerPoint Fix Toolbox https://www.fixtoolbox.com/powerpointfix.html
