Giggsy
Hello, dear community! When you get a high bounty, are you allowed into a town? Will the guards attack you on sight? My character has never had.....any bounty and I was wondering if this was what happens? And maybe there should be some kind of cloak that "disguised" the person, so that the person, while wearing the cloak, mask or hood, was enable to travel in Imperial City f.ex. Take this roleplay as an example : Your character is an evil knight whom travels the country and kill hikers and other travelers(some people sometiems walks from city to city) and assaults guards. But you realize you need some more arrows or weapons, so you need to enter a city. Since your bounty/infamy is so high, the guards will attack you on sight. So you need a "disguise" while in town. Anyone know a mod like this?Any clothing that while equipped, takes the bounty to level 0? Thanks for your time :)
Ginji
My character has never had.....any bounty and I was wondering if this was what happens? Try punching a guard till he cries. In answer to your question, that's impossible.
PanzerOfGod
It's not impossible at all. In fact, there's an item ingame that does something like this. While wearing the Gray Cowl of the Nocturnal (which you get at the end of the thieves guild quests), you adopt the bounty of the Gray Fox. It's good to just do all your robbing and killing with the cowl on, and then take it off to get your old bounty back.

What I'd like is a mod that implements a feature whereby if you are dressed as an Imperial Guard for example, you don't immediately get recognized, you're a Guard, as far as they're concerned. If you hang around close to one of them for too long, they will eventually recognise you. This feature has been seen before in various WW2 games, I wonder if it would be possible to mod in. If not, it should feature in TES V. What do you guys think?

If not, it should feature in TES V. What do you guys think? On the surface, it's simple enough to script. You can be added and removed from a Faction with a handfull of functions. However, that's just cosmetic, as the game engine still knows you as PLAYER and all PLAYER-centic events will still betray you as such. Mind you, it would be fun to play with. For instance, any Bounty on PLAYER, could be quietly removed while in disguise and replaced when the disguise was removed. The real work in making this believable, would be a painstaking sifting through all the Oblivion Scripts to find items like "You're the Hero of Kvatch" or "Hello Grand Champion". There are bucket loads of Topics and events that could break the immersion. But, if you don't require full immersion, then Yes - you can be an Imperial Guard and odd as it may seem, as a faction member they'd love you so much that they'd pay fines themselves for all your petty crimes!!! mezlo
As Panzer_of_God implied, it should be relatively simple to make a cloak which did this. If more people are interested in the idea, I'm willing to create the mod. As for The Dark Brother's option about passing as a guard, while I think it would be simpler than prometheos' method, it's still more work than I'm willing to do. ;) Mez

Hopefully, Bethseda will consider this for TES V. In fact, I think I'll post this there as well!I like the idea of the cloak though! Definitely worth doing. Make a hood/cloak that shields your bounty, so that you can "sneak" around unoticed. I wish you good luck Thanks for your time :)

But good luck Which new mod are you talking about? I've known about Reeners but it does a whole lot more than just add a simple cloak and hood like Giggsy requested.
