mezlo
I'm starting to work on this. Does anyone know of an existing item which covers both the head and upper/lower body? I've found separate hoods and robes, but not a single combined item. Mez
PanzerOfGod
Is it possible to edit the two nifs together?
martine94
This has been made several times . Reeners guard overhaul For example , Also another new one i don't remember the name on. But good luck Which new mod are you talking about? I've known about Reeners but it does a whole lot more than just add a simple cloak and hood like Giggsy requested. MezThe feature im talking about is reeners disguise mod , It's just like this mod you are planning to do , Reeners guard overhaul includes that feature but then there's also an side mod reener made , reeners disguise mod. There is a lot of similar mods and you will notice that if you just look around. mezlo
What I have in mind is a dung-covered robe. The premise is that the guards won't look at you twice because of the odor. However, merchants won't want you around either so your mercantile will be dropped to 1. Also because of the smell you won't be able to sneak up on anyone. Anyone want to share other ideas or suggestions? Mez

mezlo
Dung covered robe?! No self respecting citizen would wear that! Even criminals have some pride! I would re-think the material of the robe. This tactic is used frequently by Hollywood in medieval settings to allow a main character to avoid being harassed/searched/recognized by the guards. That's where the idea came from. I do appreciate your input, though. Mez
Xersize
It's not impossible at all. In fact, there's an item ingame that does something like this. While wearing the Gray Cowl of the Nocturnal (which you get at the end of the thieves guild quests), you adopt the bounty of the Gray Fox. It's good to just do all your robbing and killing with the cowl on, and then take it off to get your old bounty back. What I'd like is a mod that implements a feature whereby if you are dressed as an Imperial Guard for example, you don't immediately get recognized, you're a Guard, as far as they're concerned. If you hang around close to one of them for too long, they will eventually recognise you. This feature has been seen before in various WW2 games, I wonder if it would be possible to mod in. If not, it should feature in TES V. What do you guys think? http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=5196 There ya go
mezlo
Since the other various mods already exist and noone else has shown interest in this I'm gonna put it on the back burner. I still think it's a cool idea. Mez
