laochra
To give an NPC sound for their dialogue, you need to assign them a voice type. You can create your own, but still they will have to be in your in the folder Data/Sound/Voice/Example.esp/MaleAdult01/example.wav or whatever you have assigned. You can make your own voice type maleuniqueexample, and I find this avoids confusion. In dialogue If you don't have a condition to have a certain npc or a certain voice type, then everyone will say it. But if you want to use the default male dialogue you will have to extract the dialogue from the sound.bsa files and manipulate it to serve your ends, with a sound editing program, or leave it the way you like it. KazFoxsen
Don't forget to copy the .lip files that accompany the sounds you're extracting so the NPC will have mouth movement.
