I've "created" some custom pine trees (by which I mean I've slapped some textures on an existing mesh and hoped for the best) and for whatever reason, they look fine in the GECK but not in-game. Don't get me wrong, a bit of transparency wouldn't be amiss, but see-through trees kinda defeat the purpose. I'm sure it's something to do with LODs. Or Nifskope. Or something.
