acescottie
So im working on an armour mod (like everyone else) But its my first time making a mod for fallout (or any Bethesda game) and im having quite a lot of trouble making it. Every time i get it into the game it has no animations and the pants are just not there. Also it seems to replace the body rather than go over it which is making it even harder. Im ok with Blender (using v2.7) and i have 3D Max for import/exporting NIF but i can seem to link the mesh to any bones and im not good enough with 3D max to understand how linking works (in blender its just the p key) if anyone can provide a default NIF and some guide on how to link the bones in 3D Max i would appreciate it. Aslo im linking in the armour/clothes, c&c welcome but i haven't textured it yet. Im trying to go for the Sexy, but not slutty look.
vTemporalZEROv
Damn, really really really bad time to START modding a Beth game x) This game specifically... Modders aren't as advanced or adapted to FO4 modding quite yet so I have no clue how to help you else I would, if we were talking FO3 or FNV, even Skyrim, I could definitely help you but I am still learning on FO4 as well. vTemporalZEROv
Well... welcome to the community, just not the most friendly group at the moment since everyone doesn't know everything like we usually do. Some advice would be to download some mods and open them up in FO4Edit and look what they did and how to do stuff. You could try my mod - AAA, Arbitration, Homemaker, Maybe some custom weapon mods, stuff like that. These could help you learn some stuff about modding FO4 :D Or ask someone that has a custom armor mod, which isn't too many.. but you could find one and learn from them.
