Qucik newb question re: OOO 1.32rc3

...Sorry, I realize this is an ultra newb question, but I don't know what the Purpley-Brown status bar is below the Health,Magicka and Fatigue bars on my HUD. I had Oblivion the day it came out, but I'm only playing it now because I now have a sys that can run it well. This means I'm playing 'catch-up' with all the mods so I'm unfamiliar with OOO as well as everything else. I'm gettin' the hang of it all, but I can't find a reference to this particular bar in the readme or the net. I thought it was for weapon/armor degradation, but as far as I know I've repaired all my armor & bought new weps and the bar seems stuck at around the 70% mark.

Mpt sure... When in doubt check the .xml file. It should be located in your data/menus folder. Think it's in one of the HUD .xml's, look for one that displays health, fatigue and magicka, the new bar may be descibed in there as well.

 

Offhand, I would imagine the number of things it could be to rather limited. If it isn't target health, it might be light level, or something else which can be detected, but couldn't be shown another way.

Ahhh, nevermind. I see now that it's not part of OOO at all and that it's my weapon 'Durability Bar' for the Darnified UI. :rolleyes:

Heh, we were typin' at the same time Vagrant. Thanks for your reply though.

 

No wonder I couldn't find any info on it in the OOO readme and/or with all my searches that dealt with Oscuro's + status bars etc... I just happened to stumble on this in the Darnified UI readme:

Q: What is that brown bar below my fatigue?

A: That's the durability bar. It shows the health of your currently equipped weapon.

 

Q: My durability bar doesn't go all the way up. Why?

A: It has a notch @100%. Once you reach expert level in armorer, it will fill up completely (125%).

 

BTW: I just grabbed your Smarter Timescale mod... very nice.
