ElveUK
Hey guys. I've spent the better part of the last 6-8 hours re-doing my mod list, one by one, testing one by one, memory testing one by one, in the hopes of me building my perfect skyrim setup for my system. Everything is stable as gold so far, not a single issue or conflict with anything, however, I am now troubled at the ENB stage. I've tried this with Seasons of Skyrim, and True Vision so far. The same applies to both. When the d3d9.dll file is in the directory, the game will LAG horribly. I'm talking 1-3fps full drops here. This happens when the ENB effect is enabled or disabled with the Shift + Enter menu. However, when I remove the d3d9.dll file out of the directory and onto my desktop, but leave the rest of the files there. The game loads in without the ENB activating and is smooth as day. Literally 60fps when I spin around and no drops whatsoever. I've tried all versions of the ENB for performance etc. I've got AA and AF both off, along with FXAA on the skyrim options menu. But I'm now out of options. d3d9.dll is a killer? I am using the ENB 0.262 version of the d3d9.dll as the True Vision and Seasons of Skyrim say to use. For the record, my enblocal.ini is default. I haven't modified it in any way. Here is my enblocal.ini: [PROXY]EnableProxyLibrary=trueInitProxyFunctions=trueProxyLibrary=d3d9injFX.dll [GLOBAL]UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=falseUseDefferedRendering=trueIgnoreCreationKit=trueForceFakeVideocard=false [PERFORMANCE]SpeedHack=trueEnableOcclusionCulling=true [MULTIHEAD]ForceVideoAdapterIndex=falseVideoAdapterIndex=0 [MEMORY]ExpandSystemMemoryX64=trueReduceSystemMemoryUsage=trueDisableDriverMemoryManager=falseDisablePreloadToVRAM=falseEnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=falseReservedMemorySizeMb=512VideoMemorySizeMb=0 // VRAM + RAM - 2048EnableCompression=trueAutodetectVideoMemorySize=false [WINDOW]ForceBorderless=falseForceBorderlessFullscreen=false [ENGINE]ForceAnisotropicFiltering=trueMaxAnisotropy=16ForceLodBias=falseLodBias=0.0AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions=falseEnableVSync=trueVSyncSkipNumFrames=0 [LIMITER]WaitBusyRenderer=falseEnableFPSLimit=falseFPSLimit=60.0 [iNPUT]//shiftKeyCombination=16//f12KeyUseEffect=123//homeKeyFPSLimit=36//num / 106KeyShowFPS=106//insertKeyScreenshot=45//enterKeyEditor=13//f4KeyFreeVRAM=115 [ADAPTIVEQUALITY]Enable=falseQuality=1DesiredFPS=20.0 [ANTIALIASING]EnableEdgeAA=trueEnableTemporalAA=falseEnableSubPixelAA=trueEnableTransparencyAA=false [FIX]FixGameBugs=trueFixParallaxBugs=trueFixAliasedTextures=trueIgnoreInventory=trueFixSsaoHairTransparency=trueFixTintGamma=falseRemoveBlur=falseFixSubSurfaceScattering=trueFixSkyReflection=trueFixCursorVisibility=true I'd appreciate help please. ElveUK
I actually just managed to fix my own issue. It's the ENBoost line. I had to manually change it to '2000' rather than using RAM + VRAM combo.
TonyOQuinn
This package may help you improve fps even more. It's Boris' recommended enblocal.ini configs for most video cards, requires ENBSeries 0.217 or newer.
